The kind of week
they can’t wait to tell you about

A week they
can’t wait
to tell you
about
APC is a week-long photography experience
where campers explore LA through their cameras.
Kids learn by doing — not by sitting in a classroom.
By Friday, they walk away with new photos,
new friends and a whole new perspective.

Seeing for Yourself
We teach the tools of photography —
but at the core we’re focused on how we see.
Everything we do is designed to help kids notice more,
think differently and develop their own point of view.
It’s not just about making better photos —
it’s about building confidence through creativity.
Why Parents Choose APC
“He came home talking about ight and composition — I didn’t even know he knew those words.”
Real growth
“She was nervous on Monday. By Wednesday she was presenting her work to a room full of people.”
Creative confidence
“They went to the LA River, DTLA, the old zoo, the Getty. Every day was somewhere new.”
Daily adventures
“His instructor wasn’t just a teacher — he was a working photographer. That makes a difference.”

End of the Week
Exhibit!
Each photographer selects their favorite work to present at the final exhibit for friends and family.
They talk about their images: their experience, what they learned and what surprised them.
For many campers, it’s a highlight of the week — and for parents, a chance to see what their child is capable of.
Why we built this
APC is designed to be creative, challenging and welcoming — a place where kids are encouraged to experiment, take risks and develop their own way of seeing. Our goal is simple: have fun and send them home inspired, confident and excited to pick up a camera again.
